I never thought I'd be one of those moms, especially not so soon (I've been a mom for less than two years), but we're officially a minivan family. Surprisingly, we sold both of our cars only one week after we posted them, so we had even less time to find a car. We stayed frugal and bought a 2002 Mazda minivan for the same price we received for one of our cars, so we'd have more saved for school. I'm so glad the baby will be on a different row than the girls because I seriously fear for her life. I am going to have to be extremely vigilant of her or these two will attack.I am only 35 weeks and I was right...I had a breakdown last week. These two toddlers are wearing me down fast. The only plus is that maybe they'll force me to have this baby 2-3 weeks early. I've had BH contractions and some light cramping off an on all day long for the last couple of weeks. I am def not one of those moms who think babies are easier inside the belly than outside. Food still makes me feel a little sick and I get up at night to go to the bathroom every two hours, sometimes less. I am really looking forward to having my body back and seeing what it is like to care for and nurse only one newborn. Hopefully, this baby comes in two weeks...
I want to say thanks to David & Julie, my sister and Liz for helping me out with the girls these last couple of weeks. We really appreciate it ALOT!

Hurrah for getting a van for the price of a car! I know the last weeks of pregnancy are lame, but I never seem to remember just how lame they are until it happens. I hope the rest of the week goes smoothly for you.
We just did the same thing a couple of weeks ago...Moved to a Minivan! I feel like the total Soccer Mom now. I cant believe that you are getting so close to having this little one. The girls are going to have so much fun with their new baby sister!!!
Minivans are a great way to have a mini vacation from your kids. Just put them way in the back and turn up the music.
Yeah for a new minivan! When can I come and help? Are you busy Thursday afternoon?
Congrats on the new car. It looks great! I think Jon is still against us getting a minivan, but I'm all for it. (Heck, I drove around my dad's minivan for a few semesters at UVSC--come to think of it, I met Jon when I was sportin' the minivan!) They're so hot right now. Especially decked out with three carseats in the back!
