Lucy now weighs less than Audrey and is still shorter:
Lu's stats: 37 lbs and 40.2 inches
Ree's stats: 38.6 lbs and 41.2 inches
Both are in the 95 percentile and very big healthy girls.
Nana Gail was able to come celebrate their birthday with us and the girls had so much fun playing with her. We had a birthday party that lasted all day long. They had german pancakes with berries and cream for breakfast. Then they got to open some presents. I surprised them with a room redesign and now they have a dressup corner with a mirror and a reading corner with big pillows. I also bought a toy organizer with bins, so now most of their toys are upstairs. I LOVE it and so do they! Then they got more fun princess coloring and painting presents from nana Gail and even birthday letters in the mail from dad. After naptime they had fun with balloons (although half of them popped before we even got home! arrgghh!) and they loved their two butterfly balloons. Sadly, the next day Lucy accidentally let go of her butterfly balloon outside and she has reminded me about it flying away everyday since. They got some fun puzzles and had a few friends over for a picnic birthday party in our backyard. They flew foam airplanes and played pin the clouds on the rainbow. They got to eat outside and loved their hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, cake, ice cream and their favorite of the night...candy necklaces.
It was a fun day for the whole family! Thanks for all your help nana Gail and for joining us on their special day. Still can't believe they are already three...woweee!
