Tuesday tri-girly tidbit

So, the twins were born on a Tuesday and I guess Sage wanted to follow suit. German posted last week about our little giant, but he failed to post details. Luckily, I did not have to deliver an almost 11 pound baby naturally. I really wanted to and tried everything under the sun to self-induce (except castor oil--too scary), but nothing worked. I went to get checked last Monday and she was still very high and zero cervix dilation.

I am a little sad that I will never experience a natural childbirth or know what a contraction feels like, but it just wasn't in the stars for me. I am recovering well from the C-section, although for some reason I had a panic attack just before they started cutting me and that was NOT fun. Poor German was so worried about me and helped me get through it. Can I just tell you all how much a freakin' love my husband?!?! He has been taking care of me and the girls, packing up our place to move AND trying to do some pre-req coursework that needs to be completed before orientation. He is so amazing!

Anyway, onto our new baby girl...we named her Sage Crystal Galaso and she is an angel. As German said she was 10 pounds 11 ounces and was 21 3/4 inches long. She is an excellent eater and has made nursing a breeze. She loves to sleep and hasn't cried yet when her sisters have taken a swift swat at her. The twins have had a hard time adjusting to all the changes going on and we hope they forgive us someday for putting them through so much lately. German's mom has been here helping for a couple weeks and now my mom is here. They have been so great and we would not have survived without the help. THANK YOU! We will all be flying to Texas on Monday and then hopefully we can get back into some routine again. Any advice is appreciated.

Sage has been so therapeutic for me. She is such a mellow baby and has had such a calming effect on me during the stress of moving and dealing with the girls tantrums lately. We are so glad she is here (and that I am not prego anymore)!

Good luck with the move and recovery! I still can't believe that baby was in your belly! Your bump just did not look big enough in the photos to house such a large (but totally precious) kid.

I swear those c section drugs make us freak out. No one is that crazy normally. Hurrah for not being pregnant. Am so very jealous.
